Over the last several months a very interesting development has been taking place behind the scenes at IQ Munitions. HS Munitions (HSM), our next door neighbor in Stevensville, Montana, has always been instrumental in the manufacturing of IQ Munitions ammo. Although it was IQM’s responsibility to source and purchase all of the components, powder, brass, primers, and projectiles that went into the production of our ammo, all our projectiles were hand cast, which limited production capacity.
Well, due to our slowly increasing customer base, our product line caught the attention of several major sporting goods distributors and retailers who approached HSM about obtaining our product line. HSM has long established relationships with these big players with their ammunition offerings so it made a relativity seamless transition to get our product line into a national distribution network.
To increase production capacity we purchased machine molds for our entire product line, and HSM is now sourcing & buying all the necessary components to go into large scale production. IQ Munitions will continue to have an immediate presence and day-to-day involvement in the production of our ammo from the standpoint of testing, quality assurance, and continued product development.
The obvious change to occur will be the HSM box & logo, with the Magnuforce Subsonic trademark on the box. Over the next several weeks you will likely see this product line show up at major sporting goods retailers across the country. As our current IQ Munitions inventory sells down we will also transition to the HSM boxes. IQ Munitions commitment to our customer base will not change.
